The results for how much money was distributed between the three organizations has now been brought out. Here they are:

• $394,000 will go to kids who are sick  (The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation)
• $330,000 will go to the environment (World Wildlife Fund)
• $276,000 will go to kids in developing countries (Free the Children)

• Over 2.5 million penguins donated to Coins for Change.
• Over 2 billion coins were donated in total.

Club Penguin New Year party:

Just like last year, Club Penguin will have a few additions for the 2008 new year. Last year we were able to see fireworks in the sky from many differnt rooms. Who knows what they have in store for us this year. The new year special addition will be from December 28th to January 2nd.

The Christmas Scarf will also be available soon! This is known because Club Penguin released it earlier today in the Ski Village. You will not find it there now because they have removed it, but it shows that it is coming out very soon.

Billybob made a new post on the Club Penguin Blog that they will soon have membership cards that will be available in stores to buy. This means that if you go to a store that sells them you can buy either a 1 or 6 month membership from the store. So far it will be avaibale in Targets in the U.S.

This is kind of like using iTunes cards to buy songs except it is with Club Penguin memberships.

Also Club Penguin now has a new filtering system. It is now easier to talk and a lot less words are filtered out.

Coins for change has now started. If you want to donate coins then go to the plaza or the beach and start donating. You can receive a bell at the plaza or beach as well.

If you wave with the bell it will make a ringing sound.

Also if you donate any amount of coins to any charity you will receive a card saying “Thanks for donating!”

Billybob made a new post on the Club Penguin blog telling you to save your coins because there are many things coming up soon. The first thing is Club Penguin’s Coins For Change which starts on Friday. The second thing is that there will a new furniture catalog coming out on this week as well. So you will want to save up your coins for that.

There is also gonna be an igloo contest soon in which you can win 10,000 coins if you win.

Lastly the stage is going to be having a new theme on Friday. Billybob said that the new theme is something that a lot of us have asked for, but it’s not a Christmas theme. I wonder what it could be. What do you think?
